We are located on 15th street and Marine Drive in West Vancouver and can be reached through exit 11 on highway 1. Some places to look out for as a landmark are Shoppers Drug Mart, Esso Gas Station, HSBC, and Savary Island Pie Company. The large, wood-structured reception and sales area gives a modern country feeling when clients come in. Here you will be greeted by the two clinic cats, Lucky and Ducky, while you browse a large selection of veterinary diets and over the counter products and are assisted by our friendly, knowledgable staff members.

The Furnished Exam Rooms are located past the three large rooms pictured above and are used for basic procedures. Treats are available free of charge for both cats and dogs, and both rooms are displayed with various posters and brochures for client education. Equiped with a built-in TV and microscopic lens, we can quickly check the condition of pet's ears for bacterial and parasitic infections here too, as well as keep a record of your pet's weight during an exam.

The Treatment Area is a large room with many large kennels for sick or hurt patients and is also used to groom and style pets with our new bathing station. Here we perform routine surgeries, dentals, microchipping, and take samples for lab analysis. Lucky and Ducky find their large, private kennel very snug for bedtime at the end of the day!

Most of our surgeries are done at our Delbrook location as there we have more staff on hand, multiple doctors and longer hours to better monitor all pets. We also have an in-house x-ray machine for complete and fast diagnostics.

Cat Boarding is offered at our Lions Gate Animal Hospital in West Vancouver and we have an incredible facility for them to explore. Our boarding room has a built in jungle gym unit covered with ropes and perches, hiding places, and comfy beds for cats to lounge in while on their very own vacation! In between the wooden platforms is a medium sized color television that plays different breeds of water and land birds and has an assortment of different twitters from each one! Also, each kennel is designed to keep your pet safe and comfortable during bedtime and has built-in ventilation for supreme air quality inside.

During your cat’s stay, our staff come in regularly to clean and socialize with each of them so they feel safe and secure during those first scary days away from home (new environments make them feel uneasy in any situation, so lots of love is given individually). Unless on a specific diet for health reasons, we will include food free of charge and feed your cat what we like to call ‘the Lucky Ducky Mix’, a special blend of tasty, veterinary diets that we feed the clinic resident cats ourselves.

TRIVIA: The Lucky Ducky Mix came to be when our curious orange friends started opening bags of food on the bottom shelves to snack on throughout the day. Sometimes you will find sales on resealed brands of food so you might want to thank them when you come in to visit. Remember, if it’s Lucky and Ducky approved, it’s as good as gold…orange gold!

Grooming is now offered here as well! We use quality shampoos and conditioners, enriched with amino acids and omega 3 proteins for soft, luxurious coats and healthy skin. Fragrant pet perfumes after bathing which are infused with essential oils will leave your companion smelling sweet and fruity. Hypoallergenic shampoos during bathing, flea/tick baths, skunk baths, summer trims, lion cuts, dematting, paw pedicures, anal gland expression and ear cleaning are all here and available for your pet as well. Sedation options available if needed. Minimum grooming prices start at $40 which include bathing with shampoo, conditioner and perfume and blow dry/brushing afterwards.
