Delbrook Mall Location & Facilities

We are conveniently located north of the highway in North Vancouver. Continue up Westview Drive, which later turns into Delbrook Avenue. We are the first building in the old-fashioned plaza on the left which also has a wonderful coffee and sandwhich shop, chinese restaurant and dog park further on ahead for your enjoyment.

Delbrook Mall Animal Hospital is open 7am-midnight everyday!

(Includes all holidays!)

Lobby, Food & Products are the first things you will find when you enter our first location in North Vancouver. Surrounded by greenery and in a natural setting, Delbrook is equipped for all emergency cases and with no late night or emergency fees. In the large waiting area, a wide arrangement of veterinary exclusive diets are available as well as shampoos, flea preventing medication, treats, and other pet related items. Our dog and cat fomulated diets help in prevention of disease, controlling current illnesses and keeping your pet in top shape when healthy. Some of these brand name foods are Hill's Prescription Diets, Medi-Cal Royan Canin, Hill's Healthy Advantage and Purina Veterinary Diets.

The Two Examination Rooms for common and basic procedures are built according to your pet's size for easy weighing and provide a private setting for injured pets and their worried owners. Arranged with educational posters and brochures on our brands, diets and different preventive medicine, clients will enjoy learning about the options they have for their pet's health and can further ask any questions when the doctor comes in to give their beloved companion a full check-up. During the check-up, our doctors will examine the weight, eyes, mouth and teeth, anal area, abdomen and ears of the pet as well as the concerns of the pet owner if their are any.

The Treatment Area in Delbrook Mall Animal Hospital is a large, spacious room where patient files, medicine, vitamins, and medical equipment are held and kept organized. Treated animals waiting to be picked up or brought to surgery are kept in seperate sanitized kennels and are made comfortable with big towels and blankets. For larger breeds of dogs, larger kennels are located in a seperate room and are hosed down and sanitized everyday for disease control. Our friendly staff regularly check each pet, and walk dogs that are able to go out in the grassy areas of our plaza. After surgery, emergencies and for overnight patients, we feed Hill's A/D formula that is high in a-grade protein and stimulates the pet's appetite when in their 'ruff' situation away from home.

The Surgery Room is located further into the hospital past the exam rooms. Here, we are prepared for minor & major surgeries such as spay and neuters, and emergency situations such as pets that have been hit by a car or need cruciate ligament surgeries.

(Left) Roxy, the clinic's Boston Terrier Cross who was adopted in December 2010, watched over the patients in the treatment area and could be quite comical at times.

(Right) Roxy is proud of her pearly whites and always recommends Hill's T/D formula and dentals for cats and small breed dogs like herself.

TRIVIA: Did you know cats and small breed dogs are prone to tooth decay, oral abscesses, and smelly breath more than other breeds of animals? Dentals for pets help in th reduction of bacteria going through your pet's system and therefore prevents not only mouth problems but major organ diseases such as kidney, liver and heart disease! Feeding a dental diet will help in the reduction of plaque caused by solidifying bacteria as well and are great for otherwise healthy pets as a maintenance diet! Also, brushing your pet's teeth will significantly help and is easier to accomplish the younger the pet is. So start out with your puppy or kitten today and make it fun with our selection of pet-friendly, flavoured toothpastes! Free toothbrushes available too!
