About The Staff

Dr. Arminder Brar DVM got his training in veterinary medicine in 2001 from Iowa State University in the United States of America. He opened Delbrook Mall Animal Hospital in 2003 and decided to expand his business in 2009 to the city of West Vancouver, giving the option of late hour veterinary care with up to date emergency equipment to residents of the city to better fit their schedules. He is also the official owner of the clinic resident pets Lucky and Ducky, although everyone has made a place in their hearts for these sweet and curious critters.

Michele is the office manager and main vet assistant of Delbrook. She graduated from Ashworth University and received her diploma in Animal Sciences. Michele would like to learn more about the role nutrition plays in a pet's lifestyle and would also like to further her knowledge with learning which foods prevent and reverse negative health issues in animals. She would also like to learn a lot about holistic veterinary medicine. Michele's interests include boating with her friends and husband, attending kickboxing lessons, and walking her two dogs, Maiden and Bruin, in Bridgeman Park. Maiden, her Min Pin dog, usually comes to work with her to either greet the customers or sleep in the sun by the window with the clinic cats.

Jenny is a veterinary office assistant who used to work at the old West Vancouver location called Lions Gate Animal Hospital. She got her diploma at Granville Business College and has also earned herself an educational plaque for the completion of Medical Royal Canin's Dental Difference and Maturity In Motion Seminars. Here she is seen with one of the cats she adopted, Donald Trump, who has moved to her house since Lions Gate's closing. Jenny has a great interest in the pshycological and nutritional aspects of all domestic pets and would like to study more on the parenting nature of animals and their young. She also has a senior cat named Lulu, a leopard gecko and some tropical fish. Jenny's interests include watching movies, visiting the SPCA and Ambleside dog walk, and drawing. Her artwork is displayed in many places around the clinic in various forms, but she favors cartooning the most.
